Today, April 24, 2019 is the official ribbon cutting of Angelina County Farmers Market. Now under new management, Tommy and Lynn Marie Bryan has transformed the Farmers’ Market into something East Texas can be proud of year round. The Farmers’ Market is not only a staple in the community providing fresh produce and other crafts, but it is also a historical connection that binds the families of East Texas together through events.
With all the farmers and local growers in East Texas, Lufkin now has a central location to get fresh fruit and vegetables. They have even sectioned off for free a pavilion specifically for child entrepreneurs to learn how to be successful in the realm of business, changing the narrative of asking a child what they want to be when they grow up, to what problems do you want to fix now.
Booths are open for rent and we encourage every creative to come on down and get there business either started or market your existing business to this vastly growing community.
